5 Subtle ways to portray confidence and boost your Self Confidence

Confidence, the key to every blokes success! Whether its Julius Caesar, Napoleon Bonaparte, or Alexander the Great, despite the vast time between their lives, there is one thing that unites them all. Their success! The main factor behind these successes, was undeniably their skill and intelligence, but at the same time their unwavering confidence in the face of unsurmountable odds played a huge factor. Julius Caesar is said to have been captured at the age of 25 by Corsican Pirates, and when his ransom price was set by his captors, he demanded that the price be increased. He would not be insulted at the low price in his opinion, that had been set for his release.
The point I am making, is that you set your own level of worth, internally first, and then this is portrayed externally to the world. If you believe you deserve to be somewhere, people will notice this and accept you wherever that is. As such, below are 10 ways you can increase your confidence, leading to your inevitable successes.
Tip 1-BE, DO, HAVE!
This tip has stuck with me every since I heard it. Be, do, have is the affirmative action that you already believe you are what you want to be. Some would say this is the practical application of manifestation. Most people think of have, do, be, in that once I have what I want, I will do what I want, and then be what I want. This is not the way the works, and so we will flip the script on this.
BE- this first step is simple, you must believe you are what you are going to become. If you want to run a successful business, you must already be the successful business owner mentally. You must believe that not only can you run a successful company, but that it is inevitable you will.
DO-the second step, and in this business owner example, you must do what a successful business owner. You must set the routines that a successful business owner would. You must get up early, be motivated and driven, and embody the overall spirit of a successful business owner.
HAVE- the final, and most rewarding element of this tip, is the have element. Once you have believed and applied the practical steps to being a successful business owner such as persevering through failures, then you will have what a business owner has.
The key to this tip, is that if you can fundamentally shift your thought process to tell yourself, I am already good enough to be what I want to be, and I will do the things necessary to do that, then your thinking will shift to an environment where it is inevitable that you will achieve what you desire. This thinking will undoubtedly boost your confidence, in not only yourself, but your confidence in achieving your goals.
Tip 2 - Posture
Having good posture, and standing up tall with your shoulders back, will impact both how others perceive you, and how you feel about yourself. It can even have impacts such as increasing your testosterone and reduce cortisol levels, which enhances confidence.

Tip 3-Eye Contact
The key to eye contact, is holding it long enough that you are seen as confident, but not too long that you are seen as slightly creepy. Essentially, once the other person has looked away, that is your cue to also look away. Eye contact ultimately helps establish a connection with others, showing that you are honest and self-assured. It's a non-verbal cue that you are present and confident.
Tip 4-Speech Clarity
Clear and slow speech ensures that others can understand you easily and perceive you as confident and knowledgeable. It also reduces misunderstandings in your words, which again adds to your perceived confidence.
Tip 5-Active Listening
Engaging fully in conservations shows respect and confidence. A key tactic to try is one called mirroring. This is essentially where you mirror the body language of the person you are listening too, and as a result, the subconscious mind will perceive you as understanding of their words. This tactic, alongside mirroring of words, which is when you repeat back the last few words of the person you are speaking too, will ensure that the person feels extremely comfortable around and confident that you have understood them.
